Intermediate Riding Lesson FAQ

  • Intermediate riders are generally comfortable at the walk, trot, and canter, and can ride with control and balance. You should be able to tack up independently and have basic steering and stopping skills.

  • No, you don’t need your own horse. We provide well-trained lesson horses and essential riding equipment (saddles, bridles, helmets). However, you're welcome to use your own horse and gear if you’d like to!

  • Yes, everyone who comes on the farm must sign a waiver. Please find that here.

  • Yes, we offer both. Group lessons are great for social learning, while private sessions allow for more focused instruction tailored to your needs.
